Description and Details
We are delighted to be able to offer this wonderful blue enamel guilloche silver cigarette case made by Robert Chandler in Birmingham, 1916.
The case is presented with a two-point chain and ring that allows the case to be suspended from the likes of a Chatelaine.
The front lid of the case features a beautiful 'herring-bone' guilloche enamel motif that allows for the light to glisten and beautifully reflect upon differing angles.
The reverse side of the case presents a plain, mirror-like finish with a slightly concave design.
Internally, the case features a silver-gilt gold tone that wonderfully contrasts the exterior silver and blue colour, whilst allowing for cigarettes/content to be placed within without tarnishing the silver.
The case is hallmarked on the interior of the lid with clear full English marks.
