Antique Georgian English Solid Silver Snuff Box - c.1800

Description and Details

A classic Georgian design English solid silver snuff box featuring a high relief thumbpiece and an engine turned design on all sides of the box. The interior of the box would have been gold gilded as other counterpart Georgian boxes, however, this box has heavy wear in the interior. Due to the heavy wear on the interior, the hallmarks are not clear - you can just about make out the silver lion mark and the rest (date, assay, maker's mark) are not visible.

Antique Condition - Please bear in mind this item is antique and shows signs of cosmetic wear on the top and bottom of the box.
