We are delighted to offer this lovely antique 15ct gold peridot and pearl necklace made in the Edwardian era c.1910.
Distinguished in style and unapologetically antique, this pendant features the most wonderful of Edwardian decorations and classical elegance.
The pendant features a wonderful Art Nouveau gold mount in which a central peridot is surrounded by seed pearls of varying sizes. Beneath, heart-shaped foliate scrolls terminate with a single line of seed pearls and a flower.
Owing to the freely moving bail, the suspended pendant moves freely and splendidly accentuates the overall naturalistic design upon wearing.
Overall a truly elegant, distinguished and classical piece of Edwardian/Art Nouveau jewellery, ideal for the discerning antique jewellery lover and a conversation starter for the keen-eyed.
Peridot is known to be the birthstone for August and June for pearls.
The pendant is stamped 15ct on the rear of the pendant.
Ready to wear out of the box: All of our pendants also include the photographed complimentary 9ct solid gold (modern) chain so that you can enjoy your newly acquired treasure straight out of the box.
All of our jewellery comes with a complimentary hard shell gift box with a velvet interior.
