An Enormous & Rare Pair of Solid Silver Goblets/Cups with Ornate Chased Motifs - James Beebe 1861
Description and Details
We are delighted to be able to present this opportunity to acquire a pair of magnificent and rare wine goblets made by silversmith James Beebe of London in 1861.
There is a whole array of highly desirable, unique and spectacular features on these wine goblets however, the first thing that one would notice would be its sheer size and presence. Though better conveyed in person, a key highlight of these goblets is their very large size and alluring Campagna form they are presented in.
Furthermore, not only does the size present an impressive aura of importance, the intricately chased floral motifs on three of the four panels/sections around the circumference of the cup is crafted in a spectacularly ornate and distinguished fashion.
Suggested Use & A Touch Of Humor
Due to the pair's significant size and presence, these goblets would certainly grace any collection or display for the uncompromising collector. Alternatively, this pair would make for a remarkable piece of interior decor among other fine antiques, unique objects or on a dining table for personal usage and gratification.
That being said, these goblets have a capacity of a staggering 1 litre each, thus we do suggest to only fill them up appropriately with your drinking capacity with alcoholic beverages. As one would say "drink responsibly" - this pair certainly does not seem to be conscious nor limited by such concepts, however, we do not wish for any accidents so please do take care not to be too tempted by these goblets!
Alternatively, you may wish to fill these with any other non-alcoholic beverage of your choice and drink to your heart's content to simply enjoy filling up and indulging in the experience of drinking from such a large vessel.
