Description and Details
This unique solid silver Victorian cigarette case was made by silversmith Hilliard & Thomason of Birmingham in 1880.
The overall design and proportions of this case are very aesthetically and ergonomically pleasant with ideal size and fit in hand which allows for easy storage and use of cigarettes/small items of your choice.
The exterior features a classic and timeless engine-turned design with a central crested cartouche.
The case can be opened by pressing the button on the side which has a spring-loaded hinge allowing for the lid to be opened rapidly by itself. The interior of the case is fully gilt which provides protection from the silver oxidising with the contents inside.
