The bowl features a highly embellished chased motifs of flowers, acanthus leaves and scrolls throughout its whole body with a wonderful amount of flair. A blank cartouche is present in the centre with no engravings/monograms - ideal for presentation/adding your own personal one, should you wish to do so.
The top rim features a slightly notched design with further accepted engravings that can only be seen from a top-down view.
Interior wise, the bowl is clean and presents a generous volume in which a variety of contents can be placed within, such as fruits, punch (with a ladle to serve) or even as a wonderfully elegant manner to display your favourite flowers in a rose bowl fashion.
Beneath the main bowl lies a widened base and short neck that strongly supports the heavy weight of whatever is placed within with no wobble.
