We are delighted to offer this quality pair of Victorian solid silver butter dishes cellars made by Josiah Williams & Co in London, 1894. 
The pair is crafted in the form of Scallop shells and feature a high polish, mirror-like surface that glistens wonderfully under lighting.
The dishes have a curved shape that allows for multiple practical uses - though originally they would be intended to hold butter, one may wish to use these for any creative choices, from holding other condiments or even as a small pin/jewellery tray.
The pair is supported by three small feet which are crafted in the shape of sea snails, continuing with the aquatic theme and design.
The pair are fully hallmarked with clear English marks on the reverse side.
An excellent addition for a luxurious dining experience whether be it for display or usage with salt/condiments of your choice.

Condition
Great Condition - The pair is in great antique condition with no major damage or issues, for accuracy, there are some very small dark spots within the ridges of the shell (as photographed). Please refer to the photographs to examine the condition in further detail.
